Each capability features two distinctions celebrating excellence.

State of the Art

Awarded for Excellence

This distinction is awarded to organizations that have achieved a minimum Maturity Level 4 in one or more capabilities through the formal assessment and recognition process conducted within the twelve months preceding the event. These organizations operate advanced, integrated performance management systems, tools and processes that consistently deliver results.

Best in Class

Awarded for the Hallmark of Excellence

This distinction recognizes organizations that have achieved Maturity Level 5 in one or more assessed capabilities within the twelve months preceding the event. It represents the highest level of recognition in strategy and performance excellence, awarded to entities whose performance management systems and practices set the global benchmark for integration, consistency, and results-driven execution. These organizations are considered Best in Class.

How to Get Nominated to the Performance Excellence Awards Gala

Awarding Process

Submit an Inquiry

Contact the GPA Unit team to express interest in a maturity assessment and receive guidance on the most suitable service for your organization.

02.

Choose Your Assessment Path

Proceed directly with Recognized if your system is mature, or begin with Diagnose and move to Recognized after improvements. Only Recognized results qualify for the awards.

03.

Complete the Recognized Assessment

Document review, surveys, and interviews determine your maturity level across selected capabilities. Organizations reaching Level IV or V become eligible for nomination.

04.

Receive Your Nomination

GPA Unit reviews eligible assessments completed in the last 12 months and issues an official nomination together with the event invitation.

05.

Attend the Performance Excellence Awards Gala

Award recipients must be represented in person at the annual gala to receive their distinction and celebrate the milestone publicly.
