04.
Path 1: Recognized
- 1. Proceed directly with the Recognized Maturity Assessment.
- 2. If the initial results do not qualify for the Awards, implement the recommendations
and
undergo a Quick Reassessment (within 6 months) or a Standard Reassessment (after 6
months)
ahead of the Awards Gala.
Assessments must be completed before the Gala to qualify for that year's cycle; otherwise,
eligibility transfers to the next edition.
Recommended for: Organizations with established performance management systems that seek
independent validation, external recognition, and targeted refinement rather than
fundamental
change.
Path 2: Diagnose -> Recognized
- 1. Conduct a Diagnose Assessment to determine the current maturity level, highlight
critical
gaps, and obtain a general roadmap for improvement.
- 2. Implement the recommended improvements to advance organizational practices.
- 3. Conduct the Recognized Maturity Assessment to generate a detailed report and become
eligible for the Performance Excellence Awards.
Recommended for: Organizations anticipating significant gaps and needing time to strengthen
frameworks, tools, processes, and practices before formal validation.
Path 3: QuickScan -> Recognized
- 1. Conduct a QuickScan Assessment to establish a comprehensive internal baseline using
the
Integrated Performance Management framework.
- 2. Use the QuickScan findings to prioritize and refine internal frameworks, processes,
procedures, and documentation for formal validation.
- 3. Conduct the Recognized Maturity Assessment to generate a detailed report and become
eligible for the Performance Excellence Awards.
Recommended for: Organizations with sufficient internal capacity to apply the GPA Unit
Maturity
Frameworks independently, build a reliable baseline, and prepare for external assessment.
Note
As an initial step, organizations may complete the SelfCheck High-Level or In-depth
Assessment to obtain an overview of their current maturity level. These free tools
provide
key stakeholders with an accessible way to understand the organization’s stage of
development and maturity in relation to its performance frameworks, tools, and
practices,
and to determine which assessment pathway best fits their objectives and level of
readiness.
