The 6 steps to excellence

The self-assessment process:

01.

Select the maturity model framework

Users can chose the capability they want to self-assess from the current portfolio.

02.

Get access to the maturity framework

Access to the framework is granted based on a purchased usage license.
The assessment items are configured online with scoring criteria and can be used according to the licensing agreement. Another set of documents is provided to ensure the proper utilization of the model.

03.

Collect internal documents

Based on the documents checklist, the internal assessor can gather all files required for the assessment.

04.

Conduct interviews

The internal assessor will identify a series of topics that require discussion to understand certain procedures or informal practices.

05.

Evaluate organizational practices

The best practices are scored by the internal assessor according to documents review and interview findings.

06.

Generate assessment report & improvement roadmap

The assessor's scores are reflected in a Microsoft Excel dashboard. It is recommended for the internal assessor to develop an internal presentation of findings and suggested improvement actions.
