The 9 steps to excellence

The assessment process:

01.

Kick-off meeting

Meet the GPAU Accredited Assessors team and discuss the implementation timeline and requirements from client organization.

02.

Collect internal documents

The liaison person on behalf of the client organization collects and prepares all necessary documentation for the evaluation. Several discussions about the files submitted can take place at this stage.

03.

Deploy survey

Disseminate the maturity survey for each capability among relevant groups inside the client organization.

04.

Conduct interviews

The GPAU Accredited Assessor will identify a series of topics that require discussion to understand better the organization and will require support to schedule interviews with key decision-makers.

05.

Evaluate organizational practices

Data from document review, survey, and interviews are consolidated to identify the final scoring and maturity stage. An in-depth analysis is performed to outline strengths and improvement opportunities.

06.

Prelimary report

Detailed findings, scores, and recommendations are drafted by the external assessors. A first draft of the assessment report is submitted for observations.

07.

Provide the final outputs

The final deliverables are packaged, and a roadmap for improvement is proposed by the assessors.

08.

Outline the next steps

The assessment findings are presented and discussed in a meeting with the client organization.

09.

Maturity Certificate release

The GPAU releases the official recognition for the maturity stage achieved.
