    Insights focuses on performance management maturity—how organizations progress from basic, reactive approaches to integrated and adaptive systems. We examine how strategy, measurement, culture, and improvement work together as interconnected parts, and what determines whether organizations advance or get stuck at certain levels.

    Most writing in this field looks at practices in isolation—individual KPIs, specific processes, or standalone cultural initiatives. We study the system that connects them. Maturity reveals the journey rather than just the checklist, showing how organizations develop the capability to align all their performance elements into a coherent whole.

Where We Come From

Insights was born from a realization: most organizations are trying to improve systems they don't truly understand. They're lost inside the very structures they're attempting to change.

Our foundation comes from deep expertise in performance management maturity assessments. Our team spent 15 years with The KPI Institute—one of the world's leading performance management training and consulting firms—where we developed and led the GPA Unit division. During that time, we contributed extensively to Performance Magazine, focusing on maturity assessments and performance management systems.
